'Impeccable comedy timing'

'Seamlessly weaves punchlines into complex and whimsical musical arrangements'

'So funny, so clever, great timing ... and what a voice!'

Next Performances:

I've got a new solo comedy show!

An original one woman show featuring theatrical shenanigans and very funny Songs!

Written and performed by Jenny Lockyer ‘Ballad of a Lost Cat and other stories…’ is a warm and welcoming world of surreal character comedy and witty guitar-based numbers inspired by The Goons and the Ealing Comedies. Original ditties such as, 'You Make Me Steal Things', 'What Have they Done With the Children?' and the eponymous 'Lost Cat',  are interspersed with comic characters, in a mix of nostalgia and satire.

Imagine Katherine Hepburn on the school run, Joyce Grenfell in Aldi or Noel Coward on Facebook Marketplace….This is a one-woman comedy musical revue with original songs, intrigue, and a little bit of opera!

"Musical Comedy joy! A comic songstress with delightfully insane, catchy, charming musical numbers. Mixes the worlds of music and comedy with a guitar, a golden voice and a twisted lyric or two!"

-- Paul Kerensa

I've been performing comic monologues and sketches since school and have been writing and performing my own musical comedy, accompanying myself on guitar,  professionally since 2003. I take inspiration from Music Hall and Variety and 'An Audience with Victoria Wood' remains one of the best couple of hours of comedy I have ever seen.

I love to write funny songs and characters and have performed all over the country at all sorts of gigs from variety shows and cabarets, comedy and acoustic nights, school assemblies, radio, festivals, people's livings rooms and once for the queue in the local chemist.

I've supported  the likes of Tim Vine, Sara Pascoe, Adam Buxton, Shazia Mirza, Lucy Porter, Will Self and Dylan Moran.
